About Tammy

In addition to her two decades as an entrepreneur, Tammy Dowley-Blackman’s career also includes tenures as Executive Director and Chief Development Officer for affiliates of two large national nonprofits, directing a partnership as a higher education leader and almost a decade leading the nationally recognized Diversity Fellowship, which focused on creating and training an expanded talent pipeline for the philanthropic sector. Tammy has also taught Nonprofit Management at Cambridge College and Lesley University, as well as served as a Senior Fellow for the Boston University School of Management’s Institute for Nonprofit Management and Leadership. She holds an undergraduate degree from Oberlin College and a graduate degree from Harvard University.
