About Kerri

CEO and founder of Ovation, Kerri has trained thousands of executives globally in Professional Presence and Speaker Development. She is certified as a Business Etiquette Expert, an EmotionalIntelligence Expert, and a Professional Speechwriter. McGraw-Hill is the publisher of her book, Presentation Skills for Managers. She also prepares everyone for anything in her TEDx talk, How to Rehearse Anything!

A professional actress since childhood, Kerri began her studies in voice and theatre at The Baltimore School For The Arts before earning her BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse University. She has starred in productions of Evita, Singin’ In The Rain, The Lady With All the Answers (a one-woman play about Ann Landers), and most recently, I Loved, I Lost, I Made Spaghetti (another one-woman play), to name a few. You may also have seen her catching a pass from a New England Patriot, singing a Christmas carol, or complaining of bloating in a television commercial. Kerri is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association.

At the helm of Ovation, a twenty-five person global training firm, Kerri ensures that every Ovation engagement delivers the highest level of client-focused professional training. Dedication to this standard sets Ovation apart from the competition and ensures multiple repeat engagements and many long-term clients. Kerri is also the founder of Be Ready., a non-profit initiative offering Ovation’s professional presence training to Black youth of America.
